History
John McGrew started Seventh Son Termite & Pest Control in 1972, being the seventh boy out of eleven children, henceforth the name Seventh Son. In 2001, Jim and Sherry Huffman purchased this business and changed the name to Seventh Son Termite & Pest Management, Inc. Which is now located at 418 N. Dudley, in Macomb IL. We have experienced growth since the relocation to Macomb and now have a wide range of pest control services. We have kept the same professionalism and business ethics passed on from John McGrew.
Seventh Son Termite & Pest Management, Inc. has been serving Macomb and West-Central Illinois for more than Forty-five years. We are working hard to build a top-notch integrated Pest Management company, which offers diverse services to our customers: depending on their needs with professional courtesy. We have expanded our business ability to do mosquito control and aquatic weed control. Our insect, rodent, and bird control programs allow us to serve our neighbors and nearby communities as well as agriculture and industry. We had already started to educate for treating bed bugs before they were in our residential community. We strive to provide protection against termites with cutting-edge, relatively quick control methods that are less invasive than previous methods. We are dedicated to our profession and we are willing to give that extra effort whenever needed.
We currently serve commercial and non-commercial accounts in and around the Macomb area. Seventh Son Termite & Pest Management, Inc. looks forward to serving Macomb and surrounding areas for many years to come. Seventh Son Termite & Pest Management, Inc. is a member of the Illinois Pest Control Association and the National Pest Management Association. Seventh Son Termite & Pest Management, Inc. also supports many local programs and special causes in and around the Macomb area.
In 2008 Seventh Son Termite & Pest Management, Inc. added a new company, Team Green Lawn Pro, which customizes in lawn maintenance. Team Green Lawn Pro specializes in fertilization, weed control, aeration, grass seeding, and soil addition. Team Green Lawn Pro has adopted the same work ethics as well as similar policies that Seventh Son already has in place making it a clean and safe environment to work in. Team Green Lawn Pro now has an even larger service area, covering a lot of west central Illinois. Team Green continues to strive to become a better company and is still expanding today.
